Job Summary

We are looking for an attentive and driven Intelligence Specialist to join our team. Your main duties will be to perform activities that support the Operations Team, to support delivery to Government customers which may also involve support to Product, Engineering, Rapid Prototyping, Marketing and Sales Teams.

This exempt position will report directly to the VP of US Government.  

A successful Intelligence Specialist will demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively while maintaining strong interpersonal skills and professionalism, a curiosity and genuine eagerness to learn, ability to handle multiple tasks, show insight for improvement of workflows and product features.
 

Job Responsibilities         

  • Provide intelligence analysis support to executing programs for Government customers
  • Support and lead the development of new analytic solutions for customers with the Product Teams
  • Work with senior and GIS tech team members on precise data processing to required specifications
  • Support, lead, and mentor the Product Teams to implement customer requirements
  • Perform research and fulfill current and future needs with machine learning algorithms
  • Ensure data is accurate, complete and consistent through validation
  • Creating and updating maps and visualizations for projects, as well as assigning and validating data to be included in visualizations
  • Learn and implement new technologies as necessary
  • Have a familiarization of satellite orbits, and different kinds of satellite imagery modes, and satellite constellations
  • Analyze imagery from a wide range of providers and formats
  • Participate in process design discussions
  • Support other roles as needed, either business development, proposal writing or project management as needed
  • Providing technical support, such as troubleshooting and resolving issues
  • While an 8 am to 5 pm schedule is expected, other hours may be required as business needs arise.
  • Possible shift work (6am - 2pm, 8am - 5pm or 2pm -10pm EST), with a shift differential applied to early or late shifts.
  • Based on the needs of the company, you may be required to work occasional nights and weekends
  • All other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • 5-10 years experience in US Government analysis
  • Experience with interacting with computers 
  • Attention to detail
  • Enthusiasm for learning new things
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects/requests at once
  • Ability to work within a team environment and be self sufficient
  • If you are going to work remotely, a reliable Internet connection is required

Preferred Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent 
  • GIS experience 
  • Experience working with the following forms of imagery: synthetic aperture radar (SAR), electro-optical (EO), radio-frequency (RF), infrared
  • Experience working with automatic dependent surveillance-broadcast (ADS-B), publicly available information and open source intelligence (PAI/OSINT), and terrain analysis
  • Experience with AdTech
  • Experience in programming languages, such as Python, is a plus
  • Familiarity with software applications such as Google Earth, QGIS, ArcGIS

Compensation

  • $100k-$140k depending on experience
  • Compensation range includes base salary only

Location

  • We are headquartered in Ithaca, NY and have a remote workforce in other locations throughout the United States.
